From the festivals of lights to spectrum of music festivals, there's a lot happening in India. Almost every part of the county is bursting with sound, dance and colour.

A. Relax your mind, body and soul in international yoga and music festival from 1-7th November.

B. The Rann Utsav from 1st November 2018 to 20th February 2019, a carnival of music and dance in the natural beauty of white Rann.

C. Immerse yourself in Kabir's soulful teachings at Mahendra Kabir festival 16th-18th November.
The heritage walks, literature sessions, food, music with performances.

D. One of the world's largest camel and cattle fairs, Pushkar Mela is from 16th-23rd November. This includes animal races, camel safari, quad biking and even a camel beauty contest.

Some other quirky contests are turban tying, Matka race and the longest moustache wins.

The green house is a boutique hotel in the heart of Pushkar. You can do the fair on day trips from Fort Barli, a heritage property in Ajmer or from Savista a two-storeyed haveli on NH-08.

E. Amritsar, Punjab on Guru Nanak Jayanti on 23rd November. The moods of the golden temple are particularly indescribable. With thousands of oil lamps, chantings of Guru Granth Saheb and fireworks in the background, the atmosphere is supremely uplifted.
